Terms of Service

By using krit.design or app.krit.design you agree to what follows. If you engage us for paid design work, the sections on the Founder Sprint apply too.

Using the website

You may read this site, share it, and quote it with attribution. You may not scrape it to train a model, republish it as your own, or copy the designs and case study material wholesale. The words, designs, code, and marks on this site belong to Krit.

Your account

You need an account to use the product. Keep your credentials to yourself, one account per person, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13.

Who owns what you make

You own your designs. Everything you create in Krit is yours, and the code you export from it is yours to ship however you like, with no licence back to us and no attribution required.

To actually run the service we need your permission to store your work, render it, and show it back to you, and to show it to anyone you hand a share link to. That permission is limited to operating Krit, it lasts only as long as you keep the work on the service, and it ends when you delete it. We do not use your designs to train models and we claim no ownership of them.

Krit itself, the app, its interface, and its underlying code, remains ours.

What you may not do with it

• Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the rights to.
• Resell access, or share one account across a team instead of paying for seats.
• Attack the service, work around its limits, or try to reach other users' work.
• Use it to build a directly competing product from the inside.

We can suspend an account that does these things. For anything short of abuse we will tell you what the problem is first, because most breaches are misunderstandings.

Subscriptions

Krit Pro is $50 per month, billed monthly in advance through Dodo Payments. There is no free tier: an account without an active subscription cannot open the canvas, though anyone holding a share link can still view a shared project read only.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves you access for the rest of the period you have paid for. We do not offer prorated refunds for a partial month. If something has genuinely gone wrong, email us and we will sort it out rather than hide behind this paragraph.

We may change the price. If we do, existing subscribers get notice by email before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

The Founder Sprint

The Founder Sprint is a fixed price engagement of $3,000. It is billed in two halves:

• $1,500 on booking, which reserves the dates and starts the work.
• $1,500 on delivery, due only once the redesign has been merged into your repository as a pull request.

The second payment is genuinely conditional. If we never get to a mergeable pull request, you do not owe it. That is the point of splitting it this way, and it is the risk we are choosing to carry rather than you.

A Sprint is a fixed scope agreed in writing before it starts, usually your core flows. Work outside that scope is a new Sprint rather than an extension of this one. Sprints are collaborative: they need you available for review, and access to the repository the work has to land in.

On receipt of final payment, all design and code we deliver in a Sprint transfers to you outright, including the design files, the tokens, and the merged code. We keep no licence you have to honour and no lock-in: the work lives in your repository and stays there whether or not you keep working with us. We will describe the engagement publicly only if you agree to it in writing first. Silence is not agreement.

Confidentiality

Anything you show us in the course of an engagement, including your codebase, your roadmap, and your metrics, is confidential. We will not share it or publish it. This runs both ways for anything we share with you that is not already public.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep Krit running and your work safe, but the service is provided as is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and nothing on the website is a warranty of a particular result. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, which is good practice with any tool including this one.

Ending it

You can stop using Krit and delete your account whenever you like. We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and if we do we will refund any unused portion of a subscription unless the breach was abuse.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes will move the date at the top and go to the email on your account, and any engagement already underway continues under the terms in force when it started.
