Build a desktop week-view calendar for a scheduling app called Cadence.
Top bar: app mark + name on the left, then a "Today" button, prev/next chevrons, and the current range "May 25 - 31, 2026". On the right, a segmented view toggle (Day / Week / Month, Week selected), a search field, and a "New event" button.
Left rail (about 280px): a mini month for May with the current week highlighted and today marked, then a small "Up next" agenda list with 3 items (color dot, title, time).

Place several events of different lengths and colors across the days: a long design review, a couple of short standups, a 1:1, a lunch block, a focus block, and an all-day-ish strip. Each event shows a title and a time range, color-coded, with subtle borders. A couple should look stacked/side-by-side where they overlap.
Tone: near-black surfaces, hairline borders, one orange accent, tabular numbers, generous spacing. Linear-grade restraint, nothing garish.
